Background
As a native of the Central Valley, I am interested in giving back to the community. I am a member of Soroptimist International and have been involved in career development at local high schools.
- Graduated magna cum laude from C.S.U., Fresno in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration-Accounting
- Certified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1985
- 1985 to present active CPA
- 1982 through 2011 also worked in public accounting & auditing
- 1999 made partner with the Merced office of Kemper CPA Group LLP
- 2012 to 2014 Madera County Auditor Controller
- 2014 forward Private Practice
I was certified as a Peer Reviewer for the California Society of CPAs through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ peer review program. This experience allowed me to utilize my expertise in government auditing standards and generally accepted accounting principles and increase my knowledge of financial statement disclosures.
